Friends for West Grove, Inc., forges a partnership between the community, schools and alumni to empower students and bring increased funding to programs at public schools.

During 2010, Friends for West Grove will be working with the Booster organizations at Pacifica High School to plan and host a community event that will take place in September. Booster organizations will have the opportunity to raise funds by selling items, holding a silent auction and otherwise helping at this event. More details to be unveiled in the Spring.

Eventually, Friends for West Grove hopes to include other schools in the West Garden Grove area, really forging a strong bond between community members and the schools. In these economic times of decreased funding for education, Friends for West Grove emerges to support the schools in our area financially and by boosting morale.
